Car history: |
Real California 1969 Corvette 427/390HP Stingray with a M21 close ratio 4 Speed with T-Tops. This is the real deal. This Vette Runs and Drives very well. I have personally driven this car and it will really set you back in the seat to say the least. I guess thats what 460 foot pounds of torque will do. This Corvette has a Clear California Title and the tags a are up to date as well. The Vin# is 194379S722153 The trim tag says K17 Trm 411 Pnt 976. We also have the original GM order form I took a picture of it for the auction. This car also has a Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column a must for a driver over 200 lbs these cars were very tight so the column was a great upgrade. This Corvette has records dating back to 1983 to 2001 all of the receipts are there as well there are thousands of $ worth of receipts. The engine was rebuilt in 1989 and has been driven very little since then about 20,000 miles at the most. The whole front end was rebuilt 2 to 3 years ago bushing, ball joints control arms ect along with new shocks all around and new brakes. From what I understand the #s dont match the block to the Vin according to the last owner however I have not looked myself. This car also came with the u69 option Am/Fm push button radio that is no longer in the car. I would call this car a 30 footer the car does have a lot of chips scratches nicks in the paint it needs fiberglass work in some areas as well. The lower front grill needs to be replaced is was broken from a small piece of wood on the road about 2 years ago we do have almost all the parts not seen that will need to be repaired or replaced and fiberglassed in. There is no carpet in the car now we do have a carpet kit that has been sitting for a while. The interior is in fair shape it will need to be restored along with the rest of the car. This car will need a lot of work to make it perfect I would rate it a 4 to 5 out of 10. Color codes from the tank sticker. April 26, 2010. |
